Position Summary
The development and office manager is responsible for coordinating the organization’s development and fundraising efforts while ensuring the smooth daily operations of office functions. This role supports donor engagement, manages critical administrative systems and serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure organizational efficiency.

Essential Functions
Development and Fundraising
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and community engagement events averaging 8 events annually ranging from 50-200 participants.
  • Manage event logistics (i.e. venue, bookings, catering, invitations, registration, day of coordination, and post-event follow-ups.)
  • Collaborate with staff, board, and volunteers to ensure successful event promotion and execution.
  • Maintain event timelines, budgets, and documentation for reporting and future planning.
  • Support executive team and board of directors in donor cultivation efforts
  • Manage CRM to ensure proper donor documentation.
  • Manage and properly record donor thank you protocols (i.e. thank you letters, Tax acknowledgement letters pledge reminders etc)
  • Administer general, organizational email and phone systems; triage inquiries, or direct to appropriate staff.
  • Process incoming mail and manage outgoing mailings, for example, donor letters, checks and packages.
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management.

Experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environment
  • 3+ years experience in a nonprofit or development setting
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects with creativity and flexibility
  • Proficiency in donor management software (CRM) and Microsoft office/Google workspace
  • Strong interpersonal skills with donors, clients, stakeholders, volunteers, and colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
  • Standard office environment or remote work with occasional travel
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; some lifting of materials under 25 lbs may be required
